Client: Middlesbrough Sea Cadets
Project Value: £150k
Role: Lead Designer
Working closely with Middlesbrough Sea Cadets, this non-profit project saw the conversion of two derelict lodges within Albert Park transformed into a brand new, fully functioning headquarters for the sea cadets.
The restoration was very sympathetic to the existing architecture and a new rear extension and dock area were added to accommodate water based activities, as well as a drill yard for parades. In 2012 the building was shortlisted for the RICS (Royal Institute for Chartered Surveyors) Award.
